Your privacy, kept
House of Vestelle is a personal wardrobe-styling service. The information you share with us is what lets us style for you — so we treat it the way a good house treats a guest's confidence: used only to serve you, shared with almost no one, and never sold. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect and what we do with it.
This policy covers houseofvestelle.com and the House of Vestelle styling service (the "Service"). Today the website offers a launch waitlist; the sections below describing quiz and styling data apply when you use the Service itself.
01 Who we are
"House of Vestelle" ("we," "us," or "our") operates this website and the Service. You can reach us anytime at houseofvestelle@gmail.com with any privacy question or request.
02 What we collect
When you join the waitlist
- Your email address, so we can tell you when the doors open and send occasional updates. That's all the website collects today.
When you use the styling service
- Your styling quiz answers — including sizes (and any bra band/cup follow-ups), color and fabric preferences, coverage and comfort levels, prop and heel preferences, and any free-text you write in your own words.
- Your email address, so we can deliver your lookbook and service messages.
- A device identifier, used only to count your free looks and re-composes so the free tier works correctly.
We do not ask for, and do not want, more than this. We don't collect government IDs, payment card numbers (those go directly to our payment processor, never to us), or anything we don't need to style for you.
03 Why we collect it
Solely to create and deliver your personalized lookbook, to operate the free-tier limits fairly, and to send your lookbook and necessary service messages to your email. We do not use your information to build advertising profiles.
04 How AI is used
Your quiz answers, including free-text responses, are processed by an AI styling system that interprets your preferences and composes your looks. Your answers are not used to train public AI models. They're used to style for you, and for that only.
05 Who can see your information
A very short list:
- Us, to run the Service.
- The vendors required to operate it — hosting, AI processing, and email delivery — each permitted to use your information only to provide their service to us, and nothing else.
- Not your photographer. If you came to us through a photographer's studio, that photographer never receives your raw answers or sizing data. They see only that a lookbook was delivered. Your measurements are yours.
We never sell or rent your personal information. Period. We don't share it with any other third parties for their own purposes.
06 Affiliate links and retailers
Your lookbook contains links to products at third-party retailers (such as Amazon). When you click a link, you go to that retailer, and from that point the retailer's own privacy policy applies. Retailers do not receive your quiz answers or sizing data from us. See our Affiliate Disclosure for how those links work.
07 Cookies and device tracking
We keep this minimal — limited to what the Service needs to function: basic session function and the device identifier used to count free looks and re-composes. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on lookbook pages. The waitlist page on this website uses no tracking cookies at all.
08 How long we keep it
Quiz data and lookbooks are kept for 24 months, then deleted. You can ask us to delete your information earlier, at any time, by emailing the address below. Waitlist emails are kept until you ask us to remove you or the waitlist closes.
09 Your choices and rights
- Access, correct, or delete. Email us and we'll honor requests to see, fix, or delete your information.
- Opt out of non-essential email. Every non-essential email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can always ask us to stop.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your local privacy laws (for example, to know, delete, or opt out). We honor these the same way — just ask.
10 Age
The Service is for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have, we delete it.
11 How we protect it
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, but we hold your information carefully and limit who can touch it.
12 Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we'll change the effective date above and, for material changes, give notice through the website or by email. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
