The terms of the house
These terms are the agreement between you and House of Vestelle. We've kept them plain. By joining our waitlist or using our service, you're agreeing to what's below — so it's worth the two minutes.
01 Agreeing to these terms
By using houseofvestelle.com or the House of Vestelle styling service (together, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
02 What the Service is
House of Vestelle is an AI-assisted wardrobe-styling service. You answer a styling quiz, and we compose curated outfit suggestions ("looks") with links to purchase the pieces from third-party retailers. A free tier provides a limited number of looks and re-composes (counted by device), and a paid 72-hour unlock provides unlimited looks for that window. We may also offer studio and white-label plans for photographers.
03 No obligation to buy
Your lookbook is free to receive and browse, and you are never required to purchase anything. Buy one piece, all of them, or none — the styling is yours either way.
04 The affiliate relationship
The product links in your lookbook are affiliate links. When you buy through them, House of Vestelle (and, on white-label editions, your photographer) may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We disclose this clearly wherever those links appear. Full detail is in our Affiliate Disclosure.
05 We don't sell the goods
We are a styling and referral service — we never sell or ship products. Every order is placed with, fulfilled by, and supported by the listed retailer (such as Amazon). Pricing, availability, shipping, returns, refunds, and product quality are entirely between you and that retailer.
06 Sizing is guidance, not a guarantee
Our suggestions are based on the answers you give us and on typical brand sizing. Fit varies by brand and by body. We don't warrant that any piece will fit, flatter, or suit you, and we're not liable for fit, comfort, or suitability. Nothing in the Service is medical, health, or professional advice.
07 Who may use it, and how
- You must be 18 or older.
- One account or session per person.
- No scraping, copying, or republishing the lookbook system or our product database.
- No circumventing free-tier limits.
- No unlawful use, and nothing that interferes with or abuses the Service.
08 Paid features, billing, and refunds
If you purchase the 72-hour unlock or another paid plan, we'll show the price clearly before you pay, and payment is handled by a third-party payment processor (we never see your full card details). The 72-hour unlock grants access for that period from purchase. Because it's a digital service delivered immediately, unlock purchases are generally non-refundable except where required by law or in our reasonable discretion — if something went wrong, email us and we'll make it right. Subscription plans (where offered) renew until cancelled and can be cancelled anytime, effective at the end of the current period.
09 Intellectual property
The platform, its design, the styling system, and the curated lookbooks are the intellectual property of House of Vestelle. We grant you a personal, non-commercial right to use your own lookbook. Please don't resell, redistribute, or build a competing product from it. On white-label editions, the photographer's branding shown belongs to that photographer.
10 The Service is provided "as is"
We work hard to make the Service good, but we provide it "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't guarantee the Service will always be uninterrupted or error-free.
11 Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, House of Vestelle will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you actually paid us for the Service in the three months before the claim (for most guests, that's between $0 and $5).
12 Indemnification
You agree to cover House of Vestelle for claims and costs arising from your misuse of the Service or your violation of these terms or of any law. This is standard, and it only comes up in cases of genuine misuse.
13 Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll change the effective date above and, for material changes, give reasonable notice. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
14 Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which House of Vestelle is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. We'll specify that state and the venue for any disputes here once our company's formation is complete.
